EVENTS & WORKSHOP
At
KIS Various Events & Workshops are organized, Seminar for the
Teachers on Growing violence among students and Quality
education and its implementation was organised
-
Education has now become globalized with Variety of &
Courses. Guidance to the students in right direction in
choosing the career jobs has become very essential &
important. In view of this, school has started counseling by
team of experts who help the students in giving right
direction to their careers.
-
Besides Workshops / Seminars / Counseling the school also
organizes events for the harmonious relations with other
counseling. A Portuguese delegation of yoga visited the
school to spread awareness on yoga & strengthen ties between
Portugal & India.
-
Orientation Programme for the Parents is organized to inform
the Parents on the latest changes in updates in curriculum.
-
For the students, in collaboration with Times of India ,
various workshops on collage making, aerobics, paper bag
making etc are organized from time to time throughout the
year.

Fire Safety Drill,
Date - 13 Sept. 2011,
A workshop was arranged in the School Premises. The activity was Conducted in the Supervision of Mrs. Kavita & Mrs. Indrani. The motto of the activity was to make the students aware about the causes of fire, prevention &
Safety measures.
All the students from class I to XII were gathered in ground with their class teachers. After that, Mrs. Kavita explained the reason of fire, flammable & inflammable substance & the steps that should be taken if fire occurs.
She also gave a demonstration front of students. She also use fire extinguisher in demonstration. After that Mrs. Indrani gave an effective lecture to the students. Teachers were also involved in this workshop. All students were listing & take participation very actively. |

Gadget Making:-
Date – 09
August 2011
In this activity, so many Childrens (I to XII)
took participation with full of innovative ideas,
different models & Charts. All students take help
from their Science & Computer teaches.
The objective of this activity was to make the
Students Creative.
Mrs. Meenakshi Bisht informed to students 10 days
earlier. So that they can easily prepare their
gadgets.
Students prepare nice & amazing gadgets. Each
students also shown their own talent.
Gadgets are:- Sand Clock, Telephone,
Compass-needle, Motor boat, Wind-mill.
A exhibition was arranged to display the gadgets
in Science lab in the Supervision of Mr. Parmod &
Mrs. Meenakshi Bisht.
All students had visited the exhibition with their
teachers.
All participants were explaining about their
gadgets.
All the gadgets were highly appreciable.

Seminar for
Teachers:-
Date- 30 July
2011
A teacher’s seminar held in Kala Niketan
International Sr. Sec. School. The topic was
“Techniques to achieve quality education”. The aim
of choosing this topic to he discussed in Seminar
to provided the best learning environment to the
students. So, that optimum development take place.
Seminar was started with lighting the lamp by the
hands of our founder Chairman Mr. O.P. Rai &
Director of SOS members of both braches
participated in the Seminar to express their
valuable thoughts.
In this Seminar, all teachers staff of KIS & KBV
branches are participated. The Seminar was
innovative, enthusiastic & helped for the
teachers.

3rd - Mrs. Poonam Bhardwaj(KBV)
After announcing the result Mrs. Jyotsna Sexana
shares her views regarding the topic.
At last but not least Mrs. Alka (Vice Principal)
of KIS branch concluded the Seminar by thanking
all for their precious time given in seminar.

Scouts & Guides
of Kala Niketan School Win Laurels
The Scouts and Guides of Kala Niketan
International School, Gazipur, enthusiastically
participated in J.O.T.A. (Jamboree On the Air) and
J.O.T.I. (Jamboree On The Internet) on 7 Aug.2011,
organized by Bharat Scout and Guide. This
programme was held in the Northern region
headquarter of Bharat Scout and Guide at New Ashok
Nagar. Two competitions were organized in this
programme, in which Scouts and Guides of 4 schools
out of 2000 schools in Delhi state were honored by
Asstt. D.O.C, Mr.Maniram, R.O.C Guide Commissioner
Kumari Shivangi Saxena, L.O.C Mr. Ashok Mahapatya
and D.O.C Ms. Sadhana Bhadoriya. In this programme,
four scouts and six guides from Kala Niketan
School participated, out of whom Swati and Kirti
of class VIII participated in drawing competition
and essay writing competition and both won 3rd
position in their respective competitions.
Prashant Singh won 2nd position in Drawing
competition. The programme ended with colorful
cultural items. Guide captain, Mrs.Preeti Bajpai
won the 1st prize in giving commands, adding
another feather to the school cap. |
